So here is a comprehensive list of free stock photo websites.
Ok, so there is another site which I check when needing stock images. The Yotophoto website index’s photo’s/images from all different open source image websites.
Sometimes I will actually begin my search from here, but I don’t always find it most useful as, from memory, I think that if I perform a search on this website then go to one of the websites that is included in the Yotophoto index and perform exactly the same search I come up with different images. Or, maybe it is just that more relevant images will occur within the first few pages of results, and I don’t always view every single result page on the Yotophoto website.
I think they include all the sites listed in this section of the blog and many more.

Third in my list of good stock image websites would be Image * After.
To be honest I don’t normally find what I’m looking for here, but that said, I have found and used some images from here. At the time of writing this blog there is currently 16,310 free textures and images available on this website.
Second in my line of favourite FREE stock image websites is the MorgueFile website.
Another site where I find a lot of the photo’s I use on websites I create.
This is the website I use most often when needing FREE stock photo’s. I’ll always go here first before trying other sites I know as it seems to have the best range of photo’s.
