Why have I been wasting my time designing and coding when I can just grab one of theses and build sites around that!!
Ok, not quite, but these are a great start if you don’t know too much about CSS.
Here’s a link to a page that shows you how to make better looking forms with css.
Awesome page on how to set up pages with different column layouts, eg. a single column layout, two column layout, three columns and a header etc…
http://www.thenoodleincident.com/tutorials/box_lesson/boxes.html
and another site that’s good for the same:
I like this site! It shows what you can do with CSS and just how diverse it is.
The concept is that every design on this site has exactly the same HTML coding. When you click to view another design all it does is load a new external CSS someone has created, and in turn a completely different design and layout of the current page.
This is also a great website to get some design inspiration from.

Want to validate your CSS to ensure that it meets W3C standards? Simple go to this website.
Another great website to find tutorials on how to do some of the fancy or more tricky things with design. Actually this is good for learning to do the not so tricky to, but rather just those things which you don’t know how to do yet.
I mainly use this for the Photoshop tutorials, but they have tutorials from so many more programs, it’s worth a look.
If you want to learn HTML, XHTML, and CSS this is a GREAT place to start.
When I started building websites I think this was these were the very first tutorials I went through and they gave me a really good understanding of the basics.
I recommend them to anyone starting out.
