This one is another colour picker.
I find it useful to try different sites because sometimes you find it easier to stumble across that colour your really looking for.

Ok, so I don’t use this software, but I like their website, they have a ‘Scheme Gallery’ which is great to find a little inspiration and to find some colours which, allegedly, go well together. Sometimes the colours works well, sometimes not so well, but I suppose it is also up to personal opinion in the end too…
This has been my favourite Colour Picking Tool by far.
This little program has an eyedropper with which you can pick any colour on your screen, and has a little magnifying box which comes in very handy for a few reasons. One is that if you just aren’t that accurate with your mouse and find it hard to pick the exact pixel you are after then you just pick one close then pick from the box.
Another is when picking a color from a font, because of the way a screen ‘blurs’ the edges of a font to make it look smooth, you can pick the darkest part of the letter easier, or you can choose a shade of it if you want.
And still another good reason for the magnifying box is that you can select a gradient you see on another website or similar and replicate it pixel by pixel if you want (although another way to do this is just grab a screenshot of the web page, cut out the gradient you want, and use CSS to repeat it on your site.)
