Do you remember this song? I love this song, but it’s not on iTunes… I think I may have it on tape somewhere…
OK, so after watching tonight’s (repeat episode) Top Gear African special, I’ve been inspired… instead of spending a YY weekend in a house somewhere drinking beer and solving the problems of the world, why don’t we do some form of road trip?
Choose a vehicle and off we go… Great Ocean Road? Somewhere North? Somewhere West? (East isn’t really too much of an option)
We could camp in the evenings if it’s nice weather, or go to a motel, or…?
Watch out for your vehicles, there’s a big car thief about…
Just wondering if we’re going to get a lot more traffic to our blog site by accident now that “Prince Caspian - the chronicles of narnia” movie is out here now in australian cinemas?
And given that I may just have used every google search phrase in that last sentence, we may just have an increase in traffic…
So if you googled “Narnia” or “the chronicles of Narnia” or “C.S. Lewis” or “Narnia movie” or “narnia session times at Hoyts” or “greater union” and you ended up here by accident, feel free to leave a comment just for fun…
Or leave us a movie review if you’ve seen it, is it worth it?
I’ve just had a breakthrough in my thinking, I possibly have stumbled upon the greatest thought to date that could effect male and female relations.
We have 2 toilets in our house, thankfully in different rooms, why can’t one toilet seat always be up and one down??
Simple, yet I believe effective, somehow I think the female of the species will still see an issue with it, but I think I’m on to something here…
I’ve been wanting to put that out there for a little while now, and only now that the site is back up I can! On that note I would just like to thank all the internet related companies out there, mainly the web hosting and domain registration ones, for making the simplest of tasks difficult.
Last weekend I read Bram Stocker’s “Dracula”. (I hear you “they made a book out of that movie?” mmmmm… )
The novel is 111 years old but it’s a cracker! I bought it on Thursday and finished it on Monday (which is good for me). I read the first page and I was hooked.
The really brilliant thing about this book is that it’s all written from the perspective of personal diary entries, so you’re reading all the different character’s diaries and you’ve got the big picture of what is happening but the characters don’t and it’s really tense. And then halfway through the book, the characters kind of catch up with you, and they read each others diaries and start to put the pieces together, and then it feels like you’re all on the same page and it really makes you part of the story.
The book was only $10.00 and definitely worth the money.
My next move is to head over to cinema Jameso tp watch the movie (by Francis Ford Coppola).
I just want to say (brag) that last weekend I tipped a perfect 8 winners in the AFL. And now the Chronicles is back up I can tell everyone!
I missed us…
Thanks for sorting the whole interwebby out for us Chris.
On another note, I’ve pretty much lost my voice. It’s nice having a deep voice for once in my life though… I’m telling myself that I sound ‘husky’ and ‘alluring’… I think it’s probably just ‘croaky’.
Our domain name is due to expire like today or something, I went with another doamin name registrar cause they were cheaper, hopefully they’re a legit company and our website will still be up and running tomorrow!!
I suppose only time will tell…
