Not much else to say about that…

Except maybe these things:

1) It’s AMAZING how much more I find I get done when working from home. I don’t know if it is the lack of interruptions, or maybe the feeling that you need to justify yourself and show that you weren’t just slacking off so you work your bum off so that you have a decent amount to show for your day.

2) You get to work from the comfort of your bed!! I love that, a perfect example of this was not today, but last time I worked from home it was a very cold day and the in-laws were ripping up our back decking so that they could lay a new one. I spent most the day under the doona doing my work, anyway there was this one time where I had decided to go to the kitchen to get myself a drink, I must have been working hard. As I walked through the house I was thinking to myself how cold it was, then I came to the glass doors which lead out onto the deck and looked out to see my mother-in-law trying to remove the old planks of wood with a claw hammer.

It looked cold, I wouldn’t want to be out there, so after I got myself a drink, and a little snack, I headed straight back to the warmth of my doona, well after watching them work for another few minutes. I did feel a little bad, but what could I do?? My hands were tied!! There was work that I just had to get done, I mean it was a work day for me and my boss doesn’t pay me to do renovations to the house I live in…

3) Almost finished making changes to another website, hopefully will be done by the end of the day so Monday morning I can move onto something else.

4) I’m eating ice blocks, actually whilst doing my work on the new deck!!
